Bern's Steak House
1208 S Howard Ave, Tampa, Lake Magdalene,
I have traveled the world and this is one of the best of the best. Superior service, food and a wine list to die for. No, this place is not "trendy"... It is decorated like a bordello... but that is part or the over-all fun! After dinner, go upstairs and enjoy a vintage port.. some date back to the early 1800s is you have a fat wallet... I make it a point to visit Bern's on every trip to the Tampa area!

Busch Gardens - Tampa Bay
3000 E Busch Blvd, Tampa, Lake Magdalene,
While visiting Naples Fla. for the month of Dec. 07 we made a special family trip for an over night at Clearwater Beach and then a day at Busch Gardens. This was a nostalgic trip as I had first visited the Gardens with my own parents when it was just that - a garden ! This time I was taking my daughter and her family. My advice to my remaining family and friends is don't go out of your way! One is better off visiting Disney World where it is less congested, more food choices (especially if you are a vegitarian) and more variety for young children. I was very disappointed in even the system of getting you through the gates. Visit the official website and read how demeaning the info is to grandparents suggesting that they see various sights and then "why not buy a T shirt to remember it all". Many things went wrong due to a lack of proper info. Buying tickets on line when I had no means to print off a ticket but did not know that this ment that I could not avoid the line ups to enter. Finding out too late that there are wrist name tags available near the gate for young children. Why not offer these when you purchase that childs ticket. The Train ride was still great but one of only 4 rides a child under 42" could go on. Info specific to this age group would have been helpful instead of meaningless walk through fluff. 4D theatre did not register to us that a baby in arms would alarmingly be water sprayed in the face. Rewrite those signs that sort of give a warning into clear english ! Astonishingly LOUD music in what otherwise was a wonderfully talented and colourful theatrical show about the jungle might have been enjoyed if there was that meaningful warning posted about deafening sound. Perhaps there was a less damaging spot to sit for those with wheel chairs and strollers. Distracted from the beauty of the show by the deafening sound we asked to be let out. Perhaps better sound technology with adjustable volume installed in ea. seat or earphones would be kinder to the audience. This was sound that only a wayward teenager might love. Perhaps the garden/bird section is still the best area. This is a park best for those who want to ride the "costers" all day. Unfortunately our exit was untimely. I was so sorry to have wasted everyones time and my money. We are still trying to work it out with customer service.

I visited a few times and it was a pitty. This restaurant is for American palates who either do not know Latino food or do not want to know real Latino food. That's all.
